Bhumika Chawla, who was last seen sharing screen space with Prabhudheva in last year's Kalavaadiya Pozhuthugal, is said to be playing a crucial role in the bilingual remake of 2016 film U Turn

The yet-to-be-titled film is being shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu by director Pawan Kumar, who made the original. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and the makers have planned to wrap the film by May.

Apart from Samantha who plays the lead, the film has Aadhi playing the role of a cop and Rahul Ravindran playing Samantha's boyfriend. It is expected that Bhumika has been roped in to don the role of the ghost, which was played by Radhika Chetan in the Kannada original.

Produced by Srinivasaa silver screen in both the languages, the film will have cinematography by Yuddham Sharanam-fame Niketh Bommi.
