Mammootty's Maamankam second schedule to start in May

The filming of Maamamkam, a period drama starring Mammootty in the lead, will resume by May, according to director Sajeev Pillai. 

The first schedule of the film, wherein significant scenes were shot, was wrapped up a week ago in Mangalapuram. The next schedule will go on the floors in Kochi. 

Besides Mammootty, the film also stars Neeraj Madhav and Queen-fame Dhruvan. According to the director, Neeraj will be seen in a guest role, while Dhruvan will play a significant character in the film.

The makers have also roped in a Mumbai-based model for Maamamkam

Meanwhile, Mammootty has already wrapped up the shoot of Abrahaminte Santhathikal, a cop film directed by Shaji Padoor.
