Jaggesh as an encounter specialist in Kaviraj’s next directorial

As he gets older, Jaggesh is getting to expreriment with good films. Having been tagged as the Navarasa Nayaka of Kannada industry, his versatility and ability of pull off any kind of role, have led him different characters and varied subjects. The actor, who turned 55 yesterday celebrated his birthday at Kolur. 

Jaggesh, who dons a negative role in A Harikrishna’s directorial debut 8MM, which is now in post production work, is slowly getting ready to play an encounter specialist in his next film with Kaviraj. The lyricist-turned-director made his mark as a director with the Amulya and Suraj-starrer Maduve Mamatheya Kareyole. After that romantic film, the director is now going with a thriller for his second project.

The actor is said to have liked the subject and given the green signal. An official announcement is expected from the makers soon, at which time they will reveal more details about the film, including who is producing it, the subject and Jaggesh’s role. Our source tells us that the film, which will go on floors from April or May, will have music by Gurukiran and cinematography by AV Krishna Kumar.
