Parthiepan and Vadivelu to reunite after 13 years?

CE Features

One of Tamil cinema’s celebrated comedy duo, Parthiepan and Vadivelu, is expected to hands together after a gap of 13 years for a comedy directed by Suraj, with Vemal in the lead. Last seen together in 2005’s Kundakka Mandakka, both the actors have come together in several films such as Bharathi Kannamma, Pudhumai Pithan, Kadhal Kirukkan and Vetrikodi Kattu.

A source close to the director says that talks are on to bring them on board and nothing is confirmed as of now. It’s also stated that the official confirmation about this untitled film will be announced in a week. Suraj’s last film was 2016’s Kaththi Sandai, which incidentally featured Vadivelu. Meanwhile, Vemal, who was last seen in Boopathy Pandian’s Mannar Vagaiyara, has Kalavani 2 with Oviya and Kanni Raasi with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the pipeline.
