Madhoo joins Bobby Simha's Agni Dev

Last seen in Balaji Mohan's Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, Madhoo is back in Tamil cinema with Agni Dev, starring Bobby Simha. The actor has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film directed by JPR of Chennaiyil Oru Naal-2 fame and debutant Sham Surya.

Madhoo, who made her debut with K Balachander's Azhagan in 1991, went on to act in all South Indian languages and Hindi. She made heads turn with her performances in films like Shankar's Gentleman, Mani Ratnam's Roja, and the Prabhudheva-starrer Mr Romeo.

Agni Dev, which went on floors on June 4, will be predominantly shot in Coimbatore just like JPR's previous film, CON-2. The film is said to be based on a famous crime novel written by Rajesh Kumar.
