Irra to debut with RGV’s Bhairava Geetha

The newcomer will star opposite Dhananjay in the film directed by newcomer Siddhartha

Bhairava Geetha featuring Daali aka Dhananjay in the lead, has a new heroine on board -- Irra. The Kannada-Telugu bilingual is directed by newcomer Siddhartha. The shooting of the film is currently underway in the interior parts of Hyderabad.

Irra seems to have got the right beginning to her acting career, especially since the film is produced by Ram Gopal Varma in association with Bhaskar. With some acting workshops, Irra is all set to face the arc lights of Bhairava Geetha.

The first-timer says that the makers felt that she suited the character. “The film is a love story set against a violent class struggle. The makers felt that I would be able to bring out the character just as they had imagined,” says the newbie, who is also thrilled about her ‘performance driven’ role in the film.

Bhairava Geetha is about a henchman who turns rebel in a battle between feudal oppressors and the downtrodden. “I play the daughter of a very violent feudal-minded landlord. I’ll be able to reveal interesting details once I am closer to completing the shoot,” she tells us.
