Bandit Queen-fame Seema Biswas is back in Malayalam cinema once again. The National Award winner has been paired opposite Hareesh Peradi in a film titled Idam, written and directed by Jaya Jose Raj CL. Filming has commenced.

An FTII alumnus, Jaya Jose has assisted Rosshan Andrews on his film Notebook.  He won the Kerala State TV award in 2016 for directing the documentary Khalasis of Malabar: Men Who Move Mountains.

Seema last worked in Malayalam four years ago in Mammootty's Balyakalasakhi, which was based on the novel by Vaikom Muhammed Basheer. She made her debut in the industry with Jayaraj's Shantham.

Meanwhile, Hareesh Peradi will next be seen as the Kerala CM in Janadhipan. He also plays the lead in debutant Akhil Kavunghal's Payal Kunjunni.
