Actor Kalyan Ram, who is reeling from the disappointment of Naa Nuvve, has pinned all his hopes on his new film being directed by KV Guhan. Deemed to be a suspense thriller, the film presents the MLA actor as an investigative journalist.

“Kalyan Ram plays a journalist who experiences precognitive dreams and is constantly distributed by the mysterious killing of a woman. He uses his skills to unravel the events behind her death, investigates the crime scene and cracks the case. It’s an interesting role loaded with different flavours,” says a source.

About 50 per cent of the film’s shoot has been wrapped up and the team is diligently trying to release the film during Dussera. The yet-to-be-titled film is produced by East Coast Productions and has Nivetha Thomas and Shalini Pandey playing the female leads.
