Shiva Ganesh, who made his directorial debut with Jiggarthanda, will now be helming a film for Ravichandran. The project has producer K Manju on board.

Interestingly, Ravichandran is playing a pivotal role in Manju’s son Shreyas’ debut film, Paddehuli. The Shiva Ganesh film will feature the star in the lead, and is set to go on floors next month. The makers are planing on making an official announcement at that time.

It is said that the film is inspired by the critically-acclaimed Tamil film Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, directed and written by Karthick Naren, which featured Rahman in the lead. The thriller was initially planned to be remade in Telugu, but was instead dubbed and released as 16: Every Detail Counts.

While we look forward to seeing Ravichandran in the avatar of Krishna in Muniratna Kurukshetra, the actor’s upcoming directorial Rajendra Ponnappa is also another project fans are waiting to catch.
