We’ve seen how the actor, as Robert, brought his star power to Chowka, and now, he is set to up the ante for the Prajwal Devaraj-starrer, Inspector Vikram, directed by Narasimha and presented by Vikyath.

Darshan and Prajwal have always shared a special bond, with Darshan considering the latter his younger brother. Though there's no official confirmation from the production house, our sources say that the team recently visited Darshan on the sets of his upcoming film, Yajamana, and they finally managed to get the green signal from him.

The entertainer, which has Prajwal playing a cop, has an interesting cast with Bhavana playing a drug dealer. The shooting, which began in February, is going on in full swing. With the next schedule slated for the second week of July, the makers plan to reveal Prajwal’s first look on July 4 - the actor’s birthday.

The film has music by Charan Raj and cinematography by Naveen Kumar.
