Badlapur-fame filmmaker Sriram Raghavan is back after three years with Andhadhun, a thriller about a blind pianist. The first look of the film, which features Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in the lead, was released yesterday.

Ayushmann, an accomplished musician himself, has trained with a Los Angeles-based professional piano player to prepare for the role. The actor has reportedly played all the piano pieces in the film himself.

Co-produced by Viacom 18 and Matchbox Pictures, the film is set in Pune and production is expected to be complete by the end of June. Andhadhun is slated for release on August 31.

Meanwhile, Sriram Raghavan is also set to direct a biopic about Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, a Param Vir Chakra awardee, who died in the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
