After the success of her last few films--Rangasthalam, Mahanati, Irumbu Thirai--Samantha is looking forward to Pawan Kumar's remake of his Kannada thriller U Turn, that will see her reprising Shraddha Srinath's role of a journalist working on an article on the incidents at a flyover.

The actor stars alongside Aadhi Pinisetty and Rahul Ravindran in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual, which marks the director's debut in both languages. The shooting of the film is progressing at a brisk pace and currently, the team is filming pivotal scenes involving the lead cast in a specially constructed police station set in Hyderabad. "The makers are determined to wrap up by August and release the film in mid-September or early October. Samantha's first look will be unveiled soon," says a source.
