Director Genndy Tartakovsky's Hotel Transylvania 3 - A Monster Vacation will be released in India on July 20. Outside of Smurfs, Hotel Transylvania and Hotel Transylvania 2 have been Sony Pictures' biggest animation hits. The two films alone contributed in excess of $800 million at the box office.

Hotel Translyvania 3 kicks off in the same hotel from the first two films, but when Mavis sees her father Dracula depressed, she organises a cruise vacation so that he spends more time with his increasingly overworked family. They, alongside Dracula's friends and their families, quickly set off on a water-bound adventure and what follows makes up the rest of the film.

Actors Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Keegan-Michael Key, Molly Shannon, Fran Drescher, Kathryn Hahn, Jim Gaffigan and Mel Brooks have lent their voices to various characters in the film. Written by Tartakovsky and Michael McCullers, the film has music by Mark Mothersbaugh.
