Hareesh Peradi will be seen in the role of Kerala's Chief Minister in Thanseer MA's Janadhipan. Touted to be an intense political drama, Hareesh plays a communist leader named Kannur Vishwam.

The actor has previously won raves for his role as a corrupt communist leader called Kaitheri Sahadevan in Left Right Left.

Janadhipan is apparently an account of a few tense days in the life of a Chief Minister. Thanseer has also penned the script. The supporting cast comprises Vinu Mohan, Sunil Sugadha, Kottayam Pradeep, Anil Nedumangad, and Tanuja Karthik. The film's final schedule was completed in Delhi.
