Kumbalangi Nights makers looking for a female lead

The film's script is penned by Maheshinte Prathikaram-fame Syam Pushkaran

A casting call have been issued by the team of the upcoming Kumbalangi Nights. The makers are looking for the female lead. The much anticipated project is directed by debutant Madhu C Narayanan, who has worked with Dileesh Pothan (Maheshinte Prathikaram, Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum) and Aashiq Abu (Mayanadhi). 

The notification reads: "Looking for a girl of African descent aged 18-25, well-versed in English to play the lead character role in the upcoming Indian regional Malayalam movie. Shooting location will be at Kochi, Kerala." 

The film's script is penned by Maheshinte Prathikaram-fame Syam Pushkaran. Shane Nigam, Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi and Matthew Thomas are playing the main leads. Fahadh Faasil is being eyed for an important role as well. Fahadh's production company Fahadh Faasil and Friends is producing the film along with Dileesh Pothan-Syam Pushkaran's Working Class Hero.
