Everyone had thought Kaala would be Rajinikanth's last film before he took his plunge into politics, but the actor instead signed Karthik Subbaraj's film, which recently went on floors in Darjeeling. Now, buzz has it that AR Murugadoss might join hands with Superstar for a film, leading fans to hope that he will not bid goodbye to his acting career any time soon. 

Reports suggest that the Kaththi director has met Rajini and discussed a script that he had already narrated to him in the past. If it materialises, this will be a big film for Murugadoss, who had revealed in an interview with us that it was his dream to direct Superstar.

Currently, the director is working with Vijay for a film, tentatively titled Vijay 62.
