The shooting of Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha-starrer Super Deluxe has been completed. The film marks director Thiagarajan Kumararaja's return after a gap of eight years. His debut film Aaranya Kaandam won much critical acclaim and gained a significant cult following.

Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in the role of a trans woman in the film, and it is unclear whether he and Fahadh have any scenes together.

Director Mysskin is one of the co-writers of the film. Though no official release date has been announced yet, reports say that Super Deluxe is likely to be released later this year.
