After producing the critically acclaimed Orange Mittai and the yet-to-be-released Merku Thodarchi Malai, Vijay Sethupathi has turned producer once again for the gangster comedy, Junga. The audio of the Gokul-directorial was released yesterday by producer RB Choudhary at Sathyam Cinemas.

Speaking at the event Saranya Ponvannan, who plays Vijay's mother in the film, recounted her memories of working with the actor before. "I'm acting with Vijay Sethupathi after a gap of eight years. While we were shooting for Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, he used to innocently ask me, 'Amma, will the audience accept my face? Will they accept me as an actor?' I always replied to him saying, 'Your face is really cute, resembling a child. You'll definitely make it big in cinema.' Fast forward to 2018, and I am now acting under his production and receiving my salary from him. There can't be a happier moment in life for me."

Junga, also starring Sayyeshaa, Madonna Sebastian and Yogi Babu in important roles, has music by Siddharth Vipin, who also composed the music for Gokul's Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara. A major portion of the film, which traces the comic side of a kind-hearted don, has been shot in France.
