Gal Gadot to team up with Dwayne Johnson in Red Notice

Johnson plays an Interpol agent, who is on a mission to capture the most-wanted art thief in the world

Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot has been roped in to play the female lead in Dwayne Johnson’s action-comedy Red Notice, which will go on floors in April next year.

The film will be written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who has previously worked with Johnson in the 2016 film, Central Intelligence, and the upcoming disaster thriller, Skyscraper. Red Notice will feature the actor as an Interpol agent, who is on a mission to capture the most-wanted art thief in the world. 

The film will also be produced by the makers of Skyscraper--Beau Flynn for his Flynn Picture Company; and Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions. 

Meanwhile, Gal Gadot, who is currently shooting for Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 2, recently came on board to produce and star in the journalism film, My Dearest Fidel

Red Notice is scheduled to hit the screens on June 12, 2020.
