Priyadarshan will be once again collaborating with art director Sabu Cyril for his upcoming historical epic Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. "We are happy to have India's most celebrated Art Director, Sabu Cyril, be a part of Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham and he joins the pre-production works in Chennai," announced the film's makers.

A frequent collaborator of Priyadarshan, Sabu first worked with the ace director on Adwaytham and has since then handled the production design of many Priyadarshan hits, including Thenmavin Kombathu and Kaalapani, both of which fetched him National Awards. The duo has worked together on a total of 43 films.

Apart from Priyadarshan, Sabu has also worked with directors Mani Ratnam and Shankar on several of their projects. He recently handled the production design of Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning and its sequel, Baahubali: The Conclusion. He is currently working on another upcoming Prabhas film, Saaho.
