We hear the makers of Vijay 62 are done with shooting two songs so far. One of these was shot on the ECR sometime ago, and last week, the team wrapped up a peppy number, choreographed by Sridhar.

The renowned choreographer has previously worked with Vijay in films such as Pokkiri, Thuppakki, Thalaivaa, Jilla and Theri.

Touted to be a social drama, this yet-to-be-titled film, which has Keerthy Suresh as the heroine, is written by Jeyamohan and directed by AR Murugadoss.

If reports are anything to go by, the much-awaited first look and title announcement can be expected on Vijay’s birthday (June 22). One may recall that last year, it was on Vijay’s birthday that Atlee revealed the first look of Mersal.

The film also stars Radha Ravi, Pazha Karuppiah, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Yogi Babu in important roles.
