Madhu joins Priyadarshan's Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham

The film also stars Mohanlal in the lead role

Veteran actor Madhu has been cast in Priyadarshan's Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham as the first 'Kunjali Marakkar', Kutyali Marakkar. Mohanlal will play the fourth 'Kunjali Marakkar', the naval commander-in-chief of the Zamorin rulers.

The shoot will commence on November 1. Priyadarshan recently announced that scripting has been completed. Director Major Ravi will be assisting Priyadarshan, while Antony Perumbavoor will produce under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. Santhosh Kuruvilla and Dr. Roy C J are co-producing the project. 

Though rumours of Nagarjuna, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty joining the cast have been circulating on the internet, none of them have been finalised as of yet. Only Mohanlal and Madhu are confirmed so far.
