The makers of Nadodigal 2 wrapped up the film's shooting yesterday. Director-actor Sasikumar wrote on Twitter, "Against all odds and hurdles, finished shooting Nadodigal 2. Bravo, Samuthirakani. What a feat."

The team has been working on the film since March in Madurai. Set in Rajapalayam, the first part revolved around the lives of close friends, and apparently, the team has retained most of the star cast from the original. 

The film also stars Anjali, Athulya, and Bharani in important roles. Produced by S Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises, Nadodigal 2, has music by Justin Prabhakaran.
