Simbu, who wrapped up shooting for Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, is collaborating with Vijaya Productions (that has bankrolled Veeram and Bairavaa) next.

A source tells Cinema Express, "By end of June, Simbu will complete his work on music for 90 ml, which stars Oviya in the lead. The album has six songs. Post this, he's planning to go on a 45-day break abroad where he'll begin pre-production of his English directorial project, which was announced a while ago."

As for the yet-to-be-titled film with Vijaya Productions, official announcement regarding the director and rest of the cast will be made soon.

The source adds, "After returning to Chennai, he'll start simultaneously shooting for Gautham Menon's sequel to Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, titled Vinnaithaandi Varuven and the new project with Vijay Productions. Meanwhile, he's looking to finish his directorial, which has background score by Yuvan Shankar Raja and dialogues by Gautham Menon. With no interval or songs, it will be a one-of-its kind film in every literal sense."

Apparently, the actor-filmmaker had written the script post the debacle of AAA. Reports suggest that the film will be dubbed in Tamil and other regional languages.

Simbu will also do a film for Kalaipuli S Thanu once he's done with his existing commitments. This project will likely commence sometime next year.
