We had told you that Manjima Mohan has been cast opposite Gautham Karthik in Devarattam, directed by Muthaiah of Komban fame.

The AYM actor tells us, "I am not at a liberty to discuss my role; that was the director's first condition before he narrated the story. I've given a 45-day call sheet. The shoot will start this month. I am excited to play a village belle after Sathriyan. I never thought I'd be doing a film for Studio Green this soon in my career."

Manjima says she loves picking village-based scripts. "I am trying to strike a balance between both urban and rural outings. But, personally, I prefer village roles because I think they're real and more human. My next two projects though, will show me in an urban avatar," she smiles.

The actor also has the final leg of shoot left for Zam Zam, the Malayalam remake of Queen
