Yuvan Shankar Raja was apparently supposed to be the music director of Suseenthiran's film Champion, and now, the director has revealed why he had to choose Arrol Corelli eventually.

The filmmaker shared a post on Twitter saying that it was because of Yuvan's "new friends" that he didn't want to team up with him.

His tweet reads: "I couldn't collaborate with Yuvan for Champion. I express my disappointment to his fans. YSR's new set of friends are the main reason for me not being able to work with Yuvan. I am not even able to convey this information to him. And, I am quite eager to collaborate with him in future."

Meanwhile, Suseenthiran also has Angelina and Genius in the pipeline.
