Bigg Boss Julie plays Amman in her next

The actor has films like Dr S Anitha and Uthami

Maria Juliana, better known as Julie, who rose to fame through the reality show Bigg Boss, has been signed to play the role of Amman in the upcoming film, Amman Thaaye. The devotional film, directed by debutants Maheshwaran and Chandran, is said to have a full-fledged Amman dance sequence in the climax featuring the actor. Julie is said to have learnt Hindu Vedas and customs extensively to get in to the skin of the character. 

The actor was recently in the news for playing the role of the late medical aspirant Anitha, who legally fought against the NEET exam, in the upcoming biopic titled Dr S Anitha. Apart from these two projects, Julie also has a film titled Uthami in her kitty.
