A new addition to Santhanam's Dhilluku Dhuddhu 2

Malayalam actor, Shirtha Sivadas, will be playing the female lead

Santhanam, who was last seen in the action-comedy, Sakka Podu Podu Raja, is currently shooting for his next, the sequel to the highly successful Dhilluku Dhuddu. Directed by Rambala again, Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 is said to be a blend of humour and horror. 

When the film was launched in March, it was reported that newcomer Deepthi Sati would play the female lead. But now, it's learnt that Malayalam actor, Shirtha Sivadas has been signed for the film. Motta Rajendran, Urvashi, Jil Jung Juk-fame Bipin, Ramar and Dhanasekar of Kalakapovathu Yaaru fame are also part of the cast. 

Deepak Kumar Pathy, who was the cinematographer of the first installment, is also working on the sequel, while Singapore-based musician Shabeer has been roped in as the composer. Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 is expected to hit the screens in September 2018. 

Meanwhile, Santhanam is currently awaiting the release of Server Sundaram. Rambala, on the other hand, is also directing a rom-com titled Daavu with Kayal Chandran and Reba Monica John in the lead.
