Varma, the official Tamil remake of the Telugu superhit Arjun Reddy, has been progressing at a brisk pace and it has come to light that Radhan, who scored the music for the original, will also be working on this film. This is not the composer's first Tamil project, as Radhan has previously worked on films like Darling 2 and Vaaliba Raja. 

Directed by Bala and starring Vikram's son Dhruv in the titular role, Varma also features Easwari Rao and Raiza Wilson in important roles. It was announced a few weeks ago that Bengal based-model Megha Chowdury will be reprising Shalini Pandey's role in the remake. With dialogues by  Joker-fame filmmaker Raju Murugan, the E4 Entertainment production venture is expected to hit the screens later this year.
