It was expected that Kamal Haasan would resume work on his long-delayed project, Sabaash Naidu, after his stint in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2. However, things seem to have changed with the actor-director saying in the show's recent episode that he will next start work on Indian 2.

The development seems to have come on the back of director Shankar's 2.0 finally getting a confirmed release date of November 29. The ace director is currently supervising the post-production work of the Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar-starrer, which will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan has currently finished shooting for about 40 episodes out of the scheduled 100 in Bigg Boss 2 Tamil. With the reality show scheduled to be over by the end of September, Kamal and Shankar are expected to begin work on Indian 2 in the first week of October.
