With Prabhudheva’s Charlie Chaplin 2 nearing completion, it’s now confirmed that the actor will be teaming up with actor-director Parthiepan. Interestingly, the two had previously starred together in Selva’s James Pandu. Speaking about the untitled film which will have Tamannaah as the female lead, Parthiepan says, “I’ve narrated the script to both actors and they’ve given the nod. Now we’re on the lookout for a producer. We’re in talks with a few people and will soon know who will be producing the film. It will be a revenge action thriller that’s also a comedy.”

The film will also mark the second collaboration of Prabhudheva and Tamannaah after the 2016 horror-comedy, Devi. The two actors are also working on the Hindi film Khamoshi, which will be made in Tamil as Kolaiyuthir Kaalam starring Nayanthara. While Prabhudheva has Yung Mung Sung, Lakshmi and Pon Manickavel in the pipeline, Tamannaah will next be seen in Kanne Kalaimaane and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
