SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures has had a great run of late, with films like Theeran Adhigaram Ondru and Aruvi finding critical and commercial acclaim. The banner is currently producing Selvaraghavan's NGK, starring Suriya, Sai Pallavi, and Rakul Preet Singh.

We had reported earlier that Dream Warrior Picture's next, after NGK, will be directed by Kamalakannan of Madhubanakadai fame, starring Sibi Sathyaraj in the lead. Now, we hear that the project, which will have elements from various genres, including action and comedy, has been titled Vattam. An official announcement regarding the same is expected soon. Said to be a story set in Coimbatore, Vattam was apparently written by Kamalakannan over a period of two years. Sibi, meanwhile, is awaiting the release of his action thriller, Ranga.
