On Monday evening, actor Karthi surprised onlookers and the media by stepping out from an auto at the success meet of Chinna Babu (Kadaikutty Singam in Tamil).

Karthi was on his way to the city from Warangal after taking part in the promotional tour of Chinna Babu. Sensing traffic snarls in the IT corridor, he had been insisting on taking an auto from Gachibowli to reach the venue (Prasad Labs, Banjara Hills) to avoid the congestion. But his driver convinced him against the idea. However, just like the actor predicted, they were caught in a traffic jam near Madhapur. Karthi, who had to catch a flight to Chennai after the event, decided to go by an auto after all. He was accompanied by his staff and Chinna Babu’s producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy.
