We will be hosting a Nandri Vizha this evening to thank one and all who worked with us, day and night in creating this 'dream' film."

Starring Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead, the film has Sathyaraj play the role of a doting father. Lyricist Arunraja Kamaraj is debuting as a director with this film, which is the story of an aspiring cricketer who ends up playing for the National team. Aishwarya underwent intense cricket coaching for her role and international coach Dav Whatmore even took to Instagram to say he was interested in watching the film. Kanaa was primarily shot in Trichy, Salem and Dindigul.

While Aishwarya also has Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram, and Prabhudheva's Lakshmi in the pipeline, Sivakarthikeyan is awaiting the release of Seema Raja.
