After his last release, Mannar Vagaiyara received fairly positive reviews, Vemal, who has wrapped up Kalavani 2 with Oviya, is now busy with a film titled Ivanukku Engeyo Macham Irukku. Said to be a comedy, Ashna Zaveri of Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham-fame has been roped in as the female lead. The film is co-produced by Kannada actor Sharmiela Mandre and marks her her debut as a producer. The film is directed by AR Mukesh who had directed Sharmiela’s first Kannada film Sajni as well as Tamil films such as Indru Mudhal and the Prashanth starrer-Aayudham

In a statement by the director, he says, “The film will have a good share of humour and glamour. The audience can expect a fun entertainer and we are sure that the film will be enjoyed by people across age groups.” The first schedule of the film lasted ten days and it was shot in London. The second schedule is currently underway in Chennai.
