The directorial debut of Vineeth Sreenivasan's brother Dhyan Sreenivasan has started rolling. Titled Love Action Drama, the film has Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara paired opposite each other for the first time. Aju Varghese and Visakh are producing the film.

Love Action Drama is Nivin's next film after Kayamkulam Kochunni and Moothon, both scheduled to release this year. While no release date has been set for Moothon, Kayamkulam Kochunni will be releasing this Onam. Recently, it was confirmed that Nivin has signed The Great Father fame Haneef Adeni's next thriller Mikhael.
