We had earlier reported that the shoot of Anjali's upcoming 3D horror film, Lisaa, is in progress under debutant Raju Viswanath's direction. Now, the latest we hear that renowned writer, director, and theatre artiste, Makarand Deshpande, has been signed to play an important role in Lisaa. The actor, who is known for films such as Jungle, Sarfarosh, and Swades will be playing an important role that's kept under wraps.

The film, which is being advertised as the country's first-ever stereoscopic 3D horror film shot in Helium 8K resolution, also stars Yogi Babu and Mime Gopi. Santhosh Dhayanidhi has been roped in to handle the music of this project, produced by cinematographer-director PG Muthiah of Madura Veeran fame.
