Last seen as a cop in Vinoth's semi-biographical action-thriller Theeran Adhigaram Ondru, Karthi is gearing up for the release of his rural entertainer, Kadaikutty Singam, tomorrow. Ahead of the film's release, the actor recently opened about a possible collaboration with his brother, Suriya.

In a Facebook live session, Karthi was asked whether he would share screen space with Suriya in the near future. He replied that director Pandiraj has promised to come up with a script with equal screen space for him and his brother. The Madras actor also revealed his plans to direct Suriya in the future, if things fall in place. Interestingly, Kadai Kutty Singam features a cameo by Suriya.

Karthi is currently busy shooting for his next, Dev, with debutant director Ranjath Ravishankar. The film, which is almost fifty percent complete, is touted to be a romantic action film on the lines of Paiyaa. While Harris Jayaraj has been signed as the composer, details regarding the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be revealed. The team will be travelling to Ukraine in August for the next schedule.

Suriya, on the other hand, has the untitled KV Anand project, Selvaraghavan's NGK and a new film with Sudha Kongara in his kitty.
