Last seen as the pregnant teenager in the short film, Maa, Anikha has been roped in to share screen space with Ajith again in Viswasam. The actor rose to fame playing Ajith’s daughter in the 2013 Gautham Menon film, Yennai Arindhal. Her performance as a 6-year girl in that film was unanimously lauded. After the positive reception of Yennai Arindhal, she went on to star as a child artiste in films like Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Miruthan in Tamil, before appearing in Maa.

Although it has been revealed that Anikha is part of Viswasam, it is unclear at this time if she will be playing Ajith’s daughter again.

Also starring Nayanthara, Vivek, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu and Robo Shankar, the film is progressing at a brisk pace and is scheduled to hit the screens on Pongal next year.
