The year 2018 is turning out to be the most happening year of Aishwarya Rajesh's career. Recently seen alongside Atharvaa in the single Bodhai Kodhai, directed by Gautham Menon, the actor is on a roll with biggies like Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Lakshmi alongside Prabhudheva, Vetri Maaran's Vada Chennai, Kanaa, and the experimental Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai. The latest update is that Aishwarya has been roped in to play one of the female leads in Hari's Saamy Square

The actor, who also shares screen space with Vikram in Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram, will reprise the character played by Trisha in the first instalment, Saamy. It was earlier speculated that Trisha, who left the project due to creative differences, would rejoin the team in April. But, from the pictures released by the makers, it is now evident that Aishwarya has replaced her as the pair of Aarusamy. Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh plays the love interest of the son, Ramasamy, also played by Vikram. Aishwarya is said to have fifteen days of shooting left for the film.

Also starring Bobby Simha, John Vijay, OAK Sundar and Soori, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
