The film is scheduled to go on floors from the first week of September and will be shot completely in Chennai.

Gopinath Rajendran

With Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam wrapped up, Arvind Swami has signed his next. The untitled thriller will be directed by Rajapandi, who previously helmed Ennamo Nadakkudhu and Achamindri, both starring Vijay Vasanth. Speaking to CE, the filmmaker says, "It won't be a regular thriller. It's the story of a man who uses his intelligence over his brawn to come out of tight situations. There will be a lot of emotions in the film and it will be completely different from what Arvind Swami has done till date. It will be a fast-paced, edge-of-the-seat thriller with many twists."

The rest of the cast and crew is yet to be announced. "We're currently in talks with top heroines in the industry. We'll confirm someone within ten days, following which an announcement can be expected," adds Rajapandi.

The film is scheduled to go on floors from the first week of September and will be shot completely in Chennai.

Meanwhile, Arvind Swami has also completed Karthick Naren's Naragasooran and his Sathuranga Vettai 2 is ready for release. His action drama Vanangamudi is also done aside from some patchwork.
