Producer Vijay Babu has announced his new production venture, titled June. Vijay is bankrolling it through his production company Friday Film House, which was behind recent hits like Angamaly Diaries and Aadu 2. Newcomer Ahammed Khabeer is directing.

Purported to be a female-centric film, an official casting announcement is yet to be made. Vijay has confirmed that the film will start rolling on July 11.

Contrary to earlier reports, June will be the company's next film, and the recently announced Kottayam Kunjachan 2 and Aadu 3 are expected to follow later.
