Ravi Teja is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming actioner Touch Chesi Chudu. Directed by newcomer Vikram Sirikonda, the film shows the Raja The Great actor as a rebellious cop with a larger-than-life personality.

“Writer Vakkantham Vamsi has penned an interesting story that shows Ravi Teja in two different shades. The film has an interesting flashback showing Ravi as a ruthless cop who doesn’t spare an opportunity to show unleash his anger. It’s the first Telugu film shot in Pondicherry,” says a source.

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granted U/A certificate to the film on Wednesday. The makers have confirmed the film’s release on February 2, with a pre-release event being planned on January 25.

Produced by Nallamalupu Bujji and Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Touch Chesi Chudu has Raashi Khanna and Seerat Kapoor as the female leads. Bollywood composer Pritam has scored the music for this film.
