Shoot begins for Naga Chaitanya-Anu Emmanuel film

The film, tentatively titled Sailaja Reddy Alludu, also stars Ramya Krishna as Chaitanya’s mother-in-law

Naga Chaitanya, whose Yuddham Sharanam failed at the box office, is hoping to bounce back with his new film tentatively titled Sailaja Reddy Alludu. Directed by Maruthi, the film went on floors on Friday.

“The regular shooting of the film has commenced on Friday in Hyderabad. This schedule will go on until mid-February. The film has the right mix of entertainment, emotions and action,” informs a source.

Anu Emmanuel is playing the female lead in the film being produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments banner. Also featuring Ramya Krishna as Chaitanya’s mother-in-law, the film is presented by PDV Prasad.

Meanwhile, Chaitanya is currently shooting for director Chandoo Mondeti’s actioner Savyasaachi. The film, also starring Nidhi Agarwal and Madhavan in crucial roles, is poised to land in cinemas on March 8.
