After the likes of Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi, Balakrishna-starrer Jai Simha and Suriya’s actioner Gang, Raj Tarun’s Rangula Ratnam is the fourth film scheduled to hit the theatres this Sankranthi.

Initially, the Kumari 21F actor’s other film Rajugadu was slotted for release at the same time, but eventually it was pushed to a later date to avoid a face-off with the Sriranjani directorial.

Asked about the clash at the box office, Raj Tarun says, “Last year, we had three big releases for Sankranthi and all of them were declared winners. These days, we get to see two or more films releasing around the same time and doing well in their own right. As it’s a major festival for Telugu people, we are confident of a good showing at the box office.”

Chitra Shukla is paired opposite Raj Tarun in this romantic entertainer produced by Annapurna Studios. The film is slated to release on January 14.
