We were the first to tell you that Kalidas Jayaram was approached for an important role in Karthick Naren's next, Naadaga Medai. Now, it has been confirmed that he's a part of the film, along with Parthiepan and Rahman (who was seen in Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru). 

The young filmmaker says, "I met the three of them last week, and narrated the story. They liked it instantly. Also, talks are on with Gautham Karthik, but he hasn't signed on the dotted line yet." 

Karthick reveals he'll start the principal shoot from August. "We're planning to shoot in multiple locations for the first schedule. Right now, I am occupied with the final patch work of Naragasooran. In 10 days, the film will be ready," he adds. 

To be bankrolled by the director's home production Knight Nostalgia Filmotainment, Naadaga Medai will be a lighthearted entertainer, with cinematography by Sujith Sarang and music by Ron Ethan Yohann.
