First schedule of Jiiva's Gorilla completed 

A chimpanzee is said to play an important role in this film that also stars Shalini Pandey

The first schedule of the Jiiva-Shalini Pandey starrer Gorilla was wrapped in Pondicherry recently. 

The Don Sandy-directorial has been making quite a buzz in the industry ever since the first look motion poster showed that a real-life chimpanzee was part of the main cast. 

According to sources, Jiiva has returned to doing what he does the best; donning the role of a Madras slang speaking youngster. The team has planned to shoot the next schedule in Thailand involving the chimpanzee.

The film, bankrolled by All In pictures has music by Sam CS of Vikram Vedha fame
