Grapevine has it that Sarathkumar’s upcoming film Paamban doesn't have a female lead. The story supposedly revolves around the protagonist and his sister. "The crew is in talks with Vedhika and Lakshmi Menon, but they haven't been finalised yet," adds the source. Besides the sister character, there's also apparently an important role that will be played by a newcomer.

To be directed by A Venkatesh, who collaborated with Sarathkumar for Aai, Paamban has an ensemble cast of actors including Rajendran, Ganja Karuppu, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Imman Annachi, Vincent Ashokan, Ilavarasu and Rythvika.
