Kirrak Party in summer

The film, starring Nikhil in the lead, is an official Telugu remake of the Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party starring Rishab Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna

Actor Nikhil’s campus romedy Kirrak Party was to release on February 9, but a source from the production unit has confirmed that it hs been deferred.

“The shoot and dubbing is complete and we only have to shoot some patchwork. As the film mainly focuses on college and politics, we are planning to release it in summer, after exam season. We are considering two slots for the theatrical release – it will be either the last week of March or April 5,” says a source.

Directed by Sharan Koppishetty, the film has dialogues by Chandoo Mondeti and screenplay provided by Sudheer Varma. Simran Pareenja and Samyuktha Hegde play the female leads in the film that also features Deepthi Sunaina, Rakendu Mouli, RJ Hemanth and Viva Raghav in prominent roles.

Produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara, the film is an official remake of the Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party starring Rishab Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna. The film’s teaser trailer, which was released recently, has received an overwhelming response from the audience. B Ajaneesh Loknath is scoring the music for the film.
