After helming The Villain, Prem has decided to work on a musical love story. The director is currently penning the script, and he will be launching his wife Rakshita’s brother, Abhishek Rao, as the male lead through this film.

“The film will be based on a true love story, and I believe it will strike an emotional chord with everyone. I do not want to reveal the source yet. The only thing I can share as of now is that it is the story of a couple from Karnataka,” says Prem.

Abhishek, who got trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, for a year, is currently getting trained in dance and fights. Prem plans to make an official announcement about the project after next year.

“We are planning a photoshoot with Abhishek now. We have decided to launch the title on Valentine’s Day. The rest of the details will be shared in the first week of January,” says the director, who has decided to produce the film under their home banner, Rakshita Film Factory.
